This is the perfect vacation rental in Mal Pais to listen for the monkeys in the near distance and watch the parrots from the hanging balcony beds as they return to their nests each afternoon. Or simply relax in the hammocks and take in the tranquility of the ocean's song which is only about 250 meters from the rental home.
Nestled in a tropical paradise, this home for rent offers all the amenities you expect with the privacy, convenience and luxury you want. It features 2 master bedrooms with 2 full baths and 2 additional half baths. On the 3rd floor there is an additional open bedroom with 2 single beds an ceiling fan, perfect to watch the ocean and get a jungle feeling. The house can sleep up to 8 (6 in beds plus a convertible sofa).
This three-story floor plan is spacious 2,800 sq ft. with air conditioning on the 1st and 2nd floors and the 3rd being entirely open.
There is an amazing salt water pool, which means that there are no chemicals except for rock salt.
This vacation rental home comes with phone, WiFi, safe installed, a cable television downstairs and a dvd player with a small selection of movies and a stereo with extra speakers to hook up ipods so one can bring their own music. This house for rent is totally equipped for cooking indoors or for outdoor barbecues.

We had a great stay. Now we're back in 30 degree weather. Brrrrr... Everything was great with the house...our kids spent hours everyday in the pool (the non-chlorination was fantastic) and we all loved the monkeys, parrots, iguanas, and all the other animals around there.
I think one of the best things about the house was the A/C. I've stayed down there in Mal Pais a couple of times at the Blue Jay lodge and sleeping in the hot and humid climate took some getting used to. The A/C with young kids and a pregnant wife was pure luxury. The swinging beds on the top floor were great also for afternoon naps.
